المستخلص: The research aimed at identifying the differences between the effect of the two directions (the single and the compound) on the special physical abilities (under consideration) and the level of performance of the block for volleyball juniors. The researcher used the experimental method on a sample of (20) U-17 Volleyball juniors who were divided into two experimental groups. The first group used (the single-direction training) and the second group used (the compound-direction training) and the number of each group is (10) U-17 volleyball juniors. Among the tools of the research are: the physical tests, the accuracy of the offensive block skill test, and the suggested training program. The researcher used the following statistical tools: the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the median, the skewness coefficient, simple correlation coefficient, t-tests, and the ratio % of improvement. Some Most Important Results 1- The single-direction training affects positively the special physical abilities (the muscular power of the legs - the strength of the back’s muscles - agility - the flexibility of the shoulders) and the level of performance of the block of the U-17 volleyball juniors. 2- The compound-direction affects positively the special physical abilities under consid-eration and the level of performance of the block for the U-17 volleyball juniors. 3- There are statistically significant differences between the two post measurements of the two experimental groups; the first (the sin¬gle-direction training), and the second (the compound-direction training) in the special physical abilities (under consideration) and the level of performance of the block for the volleyball juniors in favor of the second experimental group. 4- The second experimental group (the com¬pound-direction training) surpasses the first experimental group (the single-direction training) in the ratios of improvement of the post-measurement than the pre- in the spe¬cial physical abilities (under consideration) and the level of performance of the block for the volleyball juniors.
