المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تشخيص اضطرابات الأطفال التوحديين من خلال دراسة نظرية. وتناولت الدراسة لمحة تاريخية لاضطرابات التوحد ومدى شيوعه وانتشاره. وناقشت الذاتوية ومفهوم الأطفال الذاتويين. وكذلك تعريف الجمعية الأمريكية للأخصائي النفساني والصورة العيادية للذاتويين. وأعراض التوحد مثل ضعف التفاعل الاجتماعي والاتصال اللفظي وغير اللفظي.
كما تطرقت إلى المشكلات التي تظهر لدى الأطفال التوحديين خاصة باللغة وتؤثر على التواصل لديهم. والسلوكيات والنشاطات والاهتمامات لدي الأطفال التوحديين كعدم القدرة على اللعب التخيلي والبرود العاطفي الشديد وانخفاض مستوي الوظائف العقلية وكذلك قصور في أداء بعض المهارات الاستقلالية والحياتية. وطرق تشخيص اضطراب التوحد وصعوباته. ودور الطبيب النفسي في التشخيص والخصائص السلوكية للتوحديين.
وكذلك ناقشت العلاقة بين التوحد والتخلف العقلي وبين التوحد والحرمان النفسي الاجتماعي. والخلل الدماغي المرتبط بالتوحد. وعلاقة اضطراب التوحد بحالة المخيخ. واستعرضت النظريات المفسرة لاضطرابات التوحد ومنها النظرية النفسية والكيميائية والبيولوجية ونظرية التلوث البيئي ونظريه العقل والنظرية العصبية.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018

The study aimed at diagnosing the disorders of autistic children through a theoretical study. The study dealt with a historical overview of autism disorders and their prevalence and spread. It discussed the identity and the concept of autistic children, as well as the definition of the American Society of Psychiatrists and the clinical image of the autistic, and autism symptoms such as the lack of social interaction and verbal and nonverbal communication.
It also turned to the problems that appear in autistic children especially in the language and affect their communication, behaviors, activities and interests of autistic children, such as inability to play imaginative, extreme emotional cooling, low level of mental function. Likewise, there are shortcomings to perform some of the skills of independence and life, ways to diagnose autism disorder and its difficulties, and the role of psychiatrist in diagnosis and the behavioral characteristics of autism.
It also discussed the relationship between the autism and the intellectual disability and between the autism and the social psychosocial deprivation, the cerebral dysfunction associated with autism, and the relationship of autism disorder to the case of cerebellum. It reviewed the theories explaining the disorders of autism, including psychological, chemical and biological theory, the environmental pollution, the mind and neurological theory..This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
