المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى مضمون الكتابة في حمامات مدارس محافظة بيت لحم الثانوية، والتعرف إلى الفروق في الكتابة والرسومات من حيث الكمية والمحتوى على أساس النوع الاجتماعي والتجمع الجغرافي (الريف الشرقي والغربي ومنطقة الوسط) في محافظة بيت لحم-فلسطين، ومن جانب آخر التعرف إلى رأي واتجاهات الأخصائيين حول الكتابة في الحمام، ومن أجل تحقيق هدف البحث، تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي الكيفي والكمي وأسلوب تحليل المضمون، وشكلت وحدة الاهتمام والمعاينة للبحث "الكتابات والرسومات الموجودة في 40 مدرسة ثانوية في محافظة بيت لحم، وقام الباحث بتطوير مقابلة مقننة، هدفها تقصي مواقف وآراء وتفسيرات 36 من الأخصائيين الاجتماعيين العاملين بتلك المدارس. وبعد جمع المعلومات وتحليلها تبين وجود (558) كتابة و(78) رسمة، وخلصت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق من حيث الكمية ما بين الذكور والإناث لصالح الذكور، بواقع (64.9%) للذكور بمقابل (35.1%) للإناث، ومن حيث الكيفية توصل البحث إلى أن كتابة الإناث أكثر أدباً وانسجاماً مع القيم والثقافة من الذكور، التي عبرت فيه كتاباتهم عن عدوانية أكثر في مواضيع البحث، والذكور أكثر إنتاجاً لمراجع جنسية الكترونية من الإناث، ومن جانب آخر وجدت فروق في مجال التعبير عن المشاعر والرومانسية لصالح الإناث، وفيما يتعلق بالفروق لصالح الجمع الجغرافي توصل البحث إلى وجود فروق لصالح منطقة الوسط بنسبة 50.3%، ثم الريف الشرقي 27.2%، وأخيراً الريف الغربي بنسبة 22.4%، وفي تفسيرهم لتلك الكتابات، اتفق أغلبية الأخصائيين على أن المراهقين يلجأوون إلى الكتابة في الحمام نتيجة عدم سماح المجتمع والثقافة لهم بالتعبير عن مشاعرهم العاطفية.

This study aimed to identify the themes of the writings in the toilets of Bethlehem secondary schools as well as to identify the differences in writings and paintings in terms of quantity and content on the basis of social type and geographical gathering (eastern, western, and central regions) in Bethlehem governorate, Palestine. On the other hand, it aimed to investigate the opinions and trends, the social workers have about the toilet writings .In order to achieve the objective of the current research, the qualitative and quantitative descriptive approach and content analysis have been followed and the writings and drawings in )40( secondary schools in Bethlehem have been the basis of interest. The researcher has, therefore, developed a standardized interview in order to investigate attitudes, opinions and interpretations of the 36 social workers’ working in these schools. After data collection and analysis, the results showed that there were )558 writings and 78 paintings(. In relation to the number of writings and paintings, there were differences between males and females in favor of males, (i.e. 64.9% for males and 35.1% for females). As for the quality of the language of the writings, female students’ language of writing was more polite and coherent with values and culture than that of male students. Male writing topics were more aggressive and had more electronic references. In contrast, female students had more affectionate and romantic expressions than male students. As for the geographical differences, it was found that there were differences in favor of the area (i.e. the middle 50.3%, east countryside 27.2%, and western countryside 22.4%). The majority of social specialists said that adolescents usually tend to write in toilets because their society and culture do not allow them to express their emotional feelings freely.
