The consensus in specialized research and studies states that television usages in the field of education and teaching can be grouped into three major guidelines : 1- Television use at school as a means of support and assistance in the field of learning and teaching : Television is used like other instruments of information technology such as the newspaper, the computer and the internet to explain lessons and their different applications. 2- Television use at school as a means of information : that means the use of television in the school background as a mass means of information by following the different information, cultural and entertainment programmes in the school background. 3- Television use at school as a means of education on information : that means the use of television to enable students to acquire competencies in criticism, analysis, evaluation and problem solving and create the link between the different elements. And also develop the abilities of students in oral interaction, discussion and communication by focusing on the contents of the information programmes watched. This study aims at analyzing the third chapter which is information education or education on the mass media based on some experiments and models and their school applications. It aims also at reaching results that will reinforce current studies and researches in this field. |
