المستخلص: تعد المفردات البيئية أحد أهم عناصر اللغة البصرية التي لعبت دوراً بارزاً في الأعمال الفنية عبر العصور واحتلت دوراً بناءً في اللوحة التشكيلية وفي صياغة وتوضيح مضمون العمل الفني وفكرته. وتحدد المفردات البيئية الموجودة في بيئة الفنان جماليات بصرية وفكرية ذات خصائص ودلالات مميزة، كما تحدد محفزات التعبير الشكلية والمعنوية التي ترتبط في مجملها مع بعضها البعض لتكون النهاية لغة بصرية يستوعبها الفنان في عقله ووجدانه ويترجمها في واقعه ومحيطه. وكل مفردة من هذه المفردات في البيئة السعودية تحتل مكانة تاريخية وأيديولوجية وتلعب دوراً كبيراً في حمل المعنى، وذلك من خلال علاقات مرتبطة تعطينا الشكل الثابت لتلك المفردة والتي تحمل دلالات تواصلية تعبر عن الأبعاد التاريخية لها، الأمر الذي يحتم معرفة مصادر هذه المفردات ومعرفة طبيعتها وتحليلها ويدفعنا إلى ضرورة البحث فيها عن لغة بصرية ذات أساس تاريخي وجمالي للتوصل إلى الأساس الفلسفي الذي تقوم عليه والذي ينبغي للفنان معرفته قبل إدراجها ضمن مكوناته التعبيرية للخروج برؤية ثقافية وجمالية معاصرة تساعد على تحليل تلك اللغة البصرية المؤثرة في فكر الفنان.

Environmental configurations is one of the most important elements of visual languages, which played a prominent role in art works through the ages and occupied a constructive role in paintings and in the formulation of the idea and content of art works . The environmental configurations that exist in an artist`s environment defines visual and intellectual aesthetics with characteristics and distinctive signs. It also stimulates formal and moral Expressions, which are entirety associated with each other, to lead to an understandable visual language in the artist`s mind and conscience, which language is then translated into reality and its surroundings. And every singleone of these configurations in the Saudi environment occupies a historical and ideological place and plays a major role in carrying meanings, through different relations that give us the stable shape for those configurations and carries signs of communication that reflect the historical dimensions, which requires knowledge of the sources and nature of these configurations. Analyzing drives these configerations to search for a visual language with historical and esthetic basis that leads to the a philosophical basie which the artist should know before including those configurations within his expressive components and brings out the cultural and aesthetic values and to help analyze the visual language influencing the artist.
