|a إن جذور القصة القصيرة عند العرب تمتد إلى الأدب العربي من جهة وإلى الأدب الغربي من جهة أخرى. بعض النقاد يرون أن لهذا الجنس الأدبي حدود وجذور مع أجناس أخرى كالمقامة والحديث والقصة والنادرة وقصص القرآن الكريم.\nهذا البحث يحاول الربط بين هذه الأجناس العريقة والمتأصلة في الأدب العربي وبين الشكل الحالي للقصة القصيرة التي تدين لشقيقتها الغربية بالكثير من الخصائص. لقد ظهر هذا التأثر جليا في عصر النهضة.

|d La nouvelle littéraire arabe telle qu’elle est connue aujourd’hui tient ses origines de la littérature arabe et la littérature occidentale. Des critiques affirment que la nouvelle littéraire arabe a des antécédents , des frontières et des racines bien lointaines avec les autres genres du récit court tels que Al-Maqâmât , al-hadith, al qissa, al-nâdira et Le récit dans le Coran etc.

|f The roots of the short story among the Arabs extends to the Arabic literature from one angle and to the western literature from another. Some if the critics that this genre has limitations and roots with other genres such as Al-Maqaamah (a genre of Arabic prose), Hadeeth (conversational), story, anecdote and the stories of the Qur’aan Al-Kareem.\nThis study attempts to make a connection between these deeply rooted and ingrained genres of the Arab literature and between the contemporary form of the short story which owes a lot to its western sister in terms of specificities or characteristics.
