520 |b Since 2006 , Algeria has engaged a policy of rural revival, whose objective is to set up a dynamics of promotion and rural development which adapts to a local and national development, In This we will try to explain the bases and contents of this policy, at the time where the questions of proximity, approaches participative, territorial approaches, dynamics of the territories, and others, represent the watchwords of the sustainable rural development. We will try an analysis of the principal characteristics of this policy in Algeria and to define contours of them, by taking into account perennially of this one in the international context (regional, Mediterranean, and others).  |d L’Algérie a engagé, depuis 2006, une politique de renouveau rural, dont l’objectif est de mettre en place une dynamique de promotion et développement rural qui s’accommode à un développement économique global et national. Cet article tentera d’expliquer les fondements et contenus de cette politique, à l’heure où les questions de proximité, approches participatives et territoriales, dynamique des territoires, et d’autres représentent les mots d’ordre du développement rural durable, et aussi, dans le souci de mieux se rapprocher des attentes et besoins réels de la population rurale. Aussi, on tentera une analyse des principales caractéristiques de cette politique en Algérie et d’en définir les contours, en prenant compte de la pérennité de celle-ci dans un contexte international, particulièrement, depuis les derniers changements opérés au niveau international par le fait de la crise financière et ses remous sur les économies réelles, dont fait partie l’économie algérienne, forte de sa grande dépendance sur les hydrocarbures, propulsant, de ce fait, la question agricole et rurale au rang des priorités et des préoccupations des décideurs locaux, dans un souci de préserver la stabilité des zones rurales et d’en tirer un profit des exploitations des opportunités rurales qui peuvent en découler.
