توقفت قراءتي في هذا البحث عند قضية مثيرة للجدل والاهتمام، وهي التنظير العربي للأدب المقارن في العصر الحديث، والمرجعيات الأجنبية التي تمتد باتساق في بنيته، حتى أضحى القارئ العربي منكرًا لمنهجيته الملتبسة، التي تأسست وفق تصورات المدارس الأجنبية المقارنية، باختلافاتها المنهجية، و منطلقاتها القومية- تصل حد الاتهام بالعنصرية فيما بينها-، والتي أثرت على بعض المحاولات العربية ؛ فاستوجبت مساءلة منطلقاتها ومناقشتها ومحاورتها، وأسسها التي ارتكزت عليها. تناولت محاولة الدكتور أحمد عبد العزيز الأولى، في كتابه: (نحو نظرية جديدة للأدب المقارن... البحث عن النظرية) فكانت محاولته جريئة، ارتضت لنفسها أن تجهر بالتنظير، وفقًا لإجراءات وأدوات واستدلالات أجنبية، متذرعًا بحجة منطقهم. ووفقًا لمقتضيات البحث ومنهجه، تم اختيار الأنموذج الثاني، وهو تجربة الدكتور عز الدين المناصرة في كتابه: (المثاقفة والنقد المقارن ... منظور إشكالي)، الذي أخذ يجوب فيه الكيانات (الأبستمولوجية) الأجنبية، بتداولاتها الفكرية، وصراعاتها المنهجية؛ ليستمد مشروعية تنظيره.
The study investigates a controversial and important issue: Arabic theorizing of modern comparative literature and the foreign references that stretch symmetrically in its structure. The Arabic reader has become a denier of its ambiguous approach, which was formed according to the views of foreign comparative schools with their different approaches and national stands that may reach racism among them. These stands influenced some of the Arabic attempts which called for questioning and discussing their bases and stands. I tackled Dr. Ahmad Abdelazeez's first attempt in his book Towards a New Look in Comparative Literature: In search of a Theory. His attempt was partial that declared theorizing according to the foreign procedures, tools, and inferences. He claimed that their logic and terms are strong to the extent that he used them lavishly so that his attempt might succeed. This made him exceed the limits of understanding because they did not form regularly and the orizingly in a healthy way away from distortion and deviation. Within this context, and according to the research demands and approach, the second model has been chosen, Dr. Ezeldeen Elmanasra's model in his book Culturizing and Comparative Criticism: A Problematic Perspective in which the foreign epistemological entities with their intellectual alternations and methodical struggles are evident. He relies on them to give his theorizing legitimacy. This practice trapped a number of Arab critics. During the research, it turned out that Almanasra's belief in his right to theorize led him to the luxury of the attempt.
