المستخلص: This paper concerns the problematics of social change interpretation as it oc¬curs outside the western world. The question is then to know how to work out an approach witch might ensure a readability including actors, practices and sense un¬derstanding. That is to say an approach of the change as apprehended in the horizons of an integration principle and of a coherence semantic. Such an object requires as a prerequisite the clarifying of the question of knowing how to refer the social change who characterises our contexts to the moder¬nity paradigm, the genesis of which is linked to a different history and evolution The Tunisian experience reference to Touraine’s analysis framework which reveals the difficulty to think of the social change as a coherent process and the ques¬tioning of the actors’ position as well as their schemata and frames of reference which underlie and mean their practices and behaveours, bring out on both theoreti¬cal and methodological levels the demands of social activity interpretation which apprehends the actors and their pratices in the prospect of a sense horizons. The problematisation and the dialectisation of the conceps of modernity and culture, the overtaking of the Unitarian view of history which leads to the affirmation of the history process uniformity as well as the reference to community which ex¬plains the dimension concerning the question of being and sense, seem to be the main requirements of such an approach.
