هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تصور مقترح لتفعيل دور قسم التربية الخاصة بكلية التربية جامعة المجمعة في خدمة المجتمع. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في إعداد مقابلات مفتوحة مع عدد من المهتمين بالتربية الخاصة من سكان محافظة المجمعة ومن العاملين في برامج خدمة المجتمع من داخل وخارج الجامعة واستبانة اشتملت على ثلاثة محاور تمثلت في معوقات خاصة بالجانب الإداري والمالي بالقسم ومعوقات خاصة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعوقات خاصة بالمجتمع. وتألفت عينة الدراسة من 80 فردا من معلمي التربية الخاصة ومديري ومشرفي برامج التربية الخاصة وبعض قيادات المجتمع المحلي وعدد من طلاب الكلية وعدد من المهتمين بمجال التربية الخاصة. وتوصلت النتائج إلى ان دور قسم التربية في خدمة المجتمع محدود وضعيف ولايقدم للمجتمع الخدمات وطرح الرؤي المتعلقة بقضايا الإعاقة كما كان يتوقع منه.وان المعوقات الخاصة بمحور المجتمع تلعب الدور الرئيس في إعاقة قيام قسم التربية الخاصة بدوره علي أكمل وجه في خدمة المجتمع من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة. وان المعوقات الخاصة بمحور المجتمع تلعب الدور الرئيس في إعاقة قيام قسم التربية الخاصة بدوره علي أكمل وجه في خدمة المجتمع من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة. وجاء في الترتيب الثاني من حيث أكثر المحاور معوقة لدور القسم في خدمة المجتمع محور الجانب الإداري للقسم. وجاء في الترتيب الثالث من حيث المعوقات التي تعوق القسم بدوره في خدمة المجتمع المحور الخاص بأعضاء هيئة التدريس. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة إنشاء لجنة خاصة بالقسم وخاصة الاهتمام بجانب خدمة المجتمع لما له من أهمية تقوم عليه الجامعات العريقة وإنشاء لجنة خاصة بالقسم لوضع خطط طموحة لتطوير دور القسم في خدمة المجتمع. والعمل علي عقد اتفاقيات تعاون مع الجمعيات الخاصة بقضايا الإعاقة مثل الجمعية السعودية للمعاقين ومركز التأهيل الشامل. والاهتمام بالأبحاث والدراسات المتعلقة بالمجتمع وتقديم دعم خاص بها. والعمل على تطوير مهارات أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومنسوبي القسم في مجال خدمة المجتمع. وتقديم عدد من الدورات والندوات والمحاضرات في مختلف الجمعيات والمراكز المتخصصة من خلال أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالقسم. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018


The study aimed at revealing a proposed scenario for activating the role of the Special Education Department at the Faculty of Education, Al-Majmaa University in the community service. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The study tools consisted of preparing open interviews with a number of people interested in the special education from the residents of Al-Majmaa governorate and those working in the community service programs from inside and outside the university and a questionnaire that included three axes that were the obstacles related to the administrative and financial aspects of the department, special obstacles of the faculty members and special obstacles of the community. The study sample consisted of 80 members of the private education teachers, directors and supervisors of the special education programs, some local community leaders, a number of students of the college and a number of those interested in the field of the special education. The results found that the role of the Department of Education in the service of the community is limited and does not provide services to the community and put forward the vision on the issues of disability as was expected of him. The obstacles to the community axis play a major role in hindering the Department of Special Education in its role to the best in serving the community from the point of view of the sample studying and that the special obstacles to the community axis play a major role in hindering the Department of Special Education in turn to the fullest in the service of society from the point of view of the study sample . The second ranking is that the administrative aspect of the axis of the section hampers the role of the department in the service of the community . The third order in terms of the obstacles that hinder the department in its turn in the service of the community came the axis of the faculty members. The study recommended the establishment of a special committee for the department, especially the attention to the service side of the community because of the importance of the old universities and the establishment of a special committee to develop ambitious plans to develop the role of the department in the service of society and work on cooperation agreements with the associations on the disability issues such as the Saudi Association for the Disabled and the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, as well as being interested in the research and the studies related to the community and provide special support for it and to develop the skills of the faculty members and employees in the field of the community service and to provide a number of courses, seminars and lectures in the various associations and specialized centers through the faculty members of the department.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
