هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانية في مدينة غزة، وعلاقته بكل من (مستوى تعليم الوالدين، الترتيب الميلادي للفرد، مستوى الدخل)، وبلغت عينة الدراسة (90) طالباً من طلبة الحادي عشر الفرع (الأدبي)، واستخدم الباحث مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي من إعداد السيد محمد أبو هاشم (2008)، وتوصلت الدراسة للنتائج التالية: 1- وجود مستوى الذكاء الاجتماعي مرتفع لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بمدينة غزة. 2- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير تعليم الأم. 3- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير تعليم الأدب. 4- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير ترتيب الفرد. 5- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير الدخل. وأوصت الدراسة بإعداد بعض الأنشطة والتدريبات التي تساعد على تنمية الذكاء الاجتماعي وإثراء المناهج بتلك الأنشطة والمهارات وحث المعلمين والباحثين وأولياء الأمور بأهمية تدريب الشباب على ممارستها.
This study aimed to determine the level of social intelligence among the secondary school students in Gaza City, and its relationship with all of (parents' education level, Individual’s Birth Order among Siblings, income level). The study sample consists of (90) students from 11th grade (humanitarian sciences branch). The researcher used the scale of social intelligence by: Mohammed Abu Hashim (2008). The study concluded the following results: 1- There is a high level of social intelligence among secondary school students in Gaza City. 2- There are not statistically significant differences in social intelligence among the sample's members due to mother's education variable. 3- There are not statistically significant differences in social intelligence among the sample's members due to father's education variable. 4- There are not statistically significant differences in social intelligence among the sample's members due to the variable Individual’s Birth Order among Siblings. 5- There are not statistically significant differences in social intelligence among the sample's members due to the income level variable. Study Recommendations The study recommend to prepare some activities and exercises for students to develop their social intelligence and enrich the curriculum with such activities and urge teachers, researchers, and parents to the importance of training young people to practice it.
