المستخلص: The aim of this research paper is to investigate the effectiveness of a corrective reading program in overcoming some EFL reading problems among primary school pupils. The design of the study is pre- post, experimental group. The sample of the present study consists of sixth year primary stage at El Wehda -Primary School -Zefta- Garbeya Governorate .(N=50) They were one group. The pupils can not master all reading skills, so he designed the program for these skills that cannot be mastered. The experimental group pupils were taught using a Corrective Reading Program. The tools of the present study consists of a reading comprehension tests pre- post prepared by the researcher. They were applied on the study before and after implementing the program. Results of the study revealed that the some of EFL reading problems were overcome as a result of teaching through the program .This confirmed that The Corrective Reading was effective in overcoming some of EFL reading problems among primary school pupils.
