المستخلص: The paper investigates the information behaviour of Kuwaiti legal professionals. presenting a conceptual model for their information behaviour based on Wilson’s (1996) model. Data from 132 legal professionals were used for analysis and 16 of them were then approached for interview. The majority do not use the Internet or legal databases. As expected, personal collections were found to be the most heavily used source used on a daily basis. The majority rely on internal communication with colleagues as a channel for exchanging information more than external communication with others. Newspapers were the most important source from which they obtained information by chance. However, legal information services and sources in Kuwait need to adopt new technology to satisfy the information needs of their users. Legal professionals themselves should also develop their own technology skills. Other recommendations are also made on the basis of the findings.
