In this research, we introduce a multi¬-agent system for finding and querying information about web services, which are available on the Internet. The information is collected from Universal Data Description and Integration (UDDIs), which were published on remote machines in a distributed system or in the Internet. The published UDDIs are represented in XML or RDF format. The collected information is stored in a global database server (or global Universal Description Discovery and integration (UDDT) server) on the server machine. The system assists the web services- based application developers to select the best web services that satisfy application requirements. The system also helps the developer to build the code of the client application that calls the chosen web services. The system has been designed as a multi-agent system, which consists of many agents. These agents are mobile agent gathering, DBagent, query agent, main agent, user agent and code generation agent. All the agents has been developed using Sun Java and Aglets as agent server. All the agents can be installed on one server machine or more. |
