المستخلص: This era is mainly the time of scientific and technological revolution in different fields. The most important field is the direct and indirect communication. Translation is the base of scientific research development (Al-Gahni, 1997). Media in the international societies does not take place without translation(El-Shura, 1994). It is a part of foreign language teaching and learning. The educational systems all over the world include different translation courses in foreign language teaching at university stages. These courses require effective strategies to be successfully acquired by the learners. Translation process is a necessary skill for all students in different levels of education. It is not only a part included in the foreign language courses, but also a strategy used in teaching and learning the language (Campbell, 1999). In addition, it helps the students develop some skills to improve their linguistic competence (Chriss, 1994). Therefore, a good strategy should be offered to students. Press Translation is one type of translation types in general and Media translation in particular (Schaffiner, 2010). It is an important course for the students in English Section at Faculties of Arts (in K.S.A). Those students study Media Translation not only as an activity but also as a part of translation course. It is not only the translation of words from one language to another that they deal with, but the translation of ideas, concepts, and images. This type of translation is a technical type of writing which requires students develop some skills such as, writing reports, presenting facts and introducing information. (Weiss, 1995& Newmark, 1991). \
