من خلال بناء مقياسا القيم الأخلاقية الإيجابية، والقيم الأخلاقية السلبية لدى طلاب وطالبات الجامعة، ومقياس المستوى الاجتماعي/ الاقتصادي والثقافي في البيئة السعودية، واستخدامهم في الإجابة على فروض البحث، على عينة 181 طالبًا وطالبة (79 طالبًا و102 طالبة) من طلبة كليتي الآداب والعلوم بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز، توصل البحث إلى اختلاف ترتيب القيم الأخلاقية الإيجابية وكذلك السلبية حسب أهميتها، لدى طلاب عنها لدى طالبات جامعة الملك عبد العزيز، ووجدت فروق بين طلاب وطالبات جامعة الملك عبد العزيز في القيمة الأخلاقية الإيجابية (الاحترام عند 0.05 لصالح الطلاب) والقيمة الأخلاقية السلبية (الغش عند 0.01 لصالح الطلاب)، ولم توجد فروق بين المجموعتين في بقية القيم الإيجابية أو السلبية، ووجدت فروق حسب التخصص في القيمة الأخلاقية الإيجابية (العدل عند 0.05 لصالح ذوي التخصص الأدبي)، وفي القيمة الأخلاقية السلبية (الغش عند 0.01 لصالح ذوي التخصص العلمي)، ولم توجد فروق في بقية القيم الإيجابية أو السلبية، كما لم توجد فروق حسب المستوى الاجتماعي الاقتصادي في كل القيم الأخلاقية الإيجابية والسلبية، ووجدت فروق حسب المستوى الثقافي في القيم الأخلاقية الإيجابية (التعاون عند 0.05، وتحمل المسئولية عند 0.01، وعلو الهمة عند 0.01) وفي القيمة الأخلاقية السلبية (التكبر عند 0.05)، وكلها فروق لصالح ذوي المستوى الثقافي المرتفع، ولم توجد فروق في بقية القيم الإيجابية أو السلبية.
The objectives of this research were to build three scales of measurement : the positive ethical values scale, the negative ethical values scale , and the socio /economic and cultural scale. The scales were used to explore the differences in positive and negative ethical values among male and female students at King abdulaziz University as related to two major variables such as ; socio/economic & cultural status, and specialty field of study. The subjects consisted of (181) male and female students (79 males and 102 females) from Faculty of Arts & Science and also from Faculty of Science at King abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The research findings showed the following results. Both positive & negative ethical values were differently ranked according to their importance among males as compared to females , There were no major differences between males and females in most of the positive & negative ethical values except in one positive value that is (respect) in favor of males significant at .05 and the negative value (cheating) significant at .01 level. Moreover, the results pointed out to differences could be attributed to specialty field where as the differences in positive value justice was in favor of Art' students and the differences in one of the negative value (cheating) in favor of Science 'students. On the other hand , the results did not revealed any differences could be attributed to socio/economic status variable . However, the results did reveal differences in some positive ethical values (cooperation at .05, responsibility , and high resolution at .01) as well as differences in one negative value (arrogance at .05) all of them could be attributed to high level of cultural status. Finally there some recommendations offered in the study.
