المستخلص:	This research is an introduction to a genological study that tries to know the way in which the term "history " existed in the Islamic Arab civilization . Before and after Islam , the Arab were not acqainted with its reference nowadays as the news of the past . Thus . it exists late for they, exclusively , identify history with time. The beginning of the project was koranic which questioned what the researchers neglected concerning the actual justifications behind the absence of a the term “history" The Holy Koran , and the reasons of the substitution of a certian word , such as “stories"' , "vestiges", "news" and "sayings’" instead or it. The subject has been dealt with through making use of the data taken from modern methods , whether hingistic or interpretive , which try to seek for the synchronic meaning of non-excluding the terms from their producing social and cultural background.
