|f The research discusses the poems of a famous poet from the Abbasi era for his intellectual and political poems and his beautiful view of life away from complexity and mystery and in a readily available simple style. We considered that we should talk about "reproach" in the poems of Ali bin al-Jeham. Reproach is one of the subtle poetic purposes. It is a poetic purpose that puts the poet in an awkward position that needs ingenuity, merit, and prudence in order to make the reproach balanced between his emotions and the emotions of the one being reproached. The poet has been subjected to many situations that made him vulnerable to injustice and unfairness that led him to complain about time and days, especially since the sense of injustice was caused by his problems with the attendants of al-Mutawakil.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021

|a يتناول البحث قصائد الشاعر العباسي المشهور بقصائده الفكرية والسياسية ونظرته الجميلة إلى الحياة بعيدا عن التعقيد والغموض وفي أسلوب بسيط قريب المأخذ. وارتأينا أن نتحدث عن العتاب في قصائد علي بن الجهم، فالعتاب من الأغراض الشعرية الرقيقة والدقيقة. فأنه غرض شعري يضع الشاعر في موقف حرج يحتاج إلى براعة وجدارة وحيطة لكي يجعل العتاب متوازنا بين عواطفه وعواطف المعاتب. حيث أن الشاعر قد تعرض إلى مواقف عديدة جعلته عرضة للظلم والغبن وهذا دفعه إلى الشكوى من الدهر والزمن والأيام لاسيما وأن الإحساس بالظلم كان نابعا من مشاكله مع حاشية المتوكل.
