The purpose of this study was to explore Kuwaiti kindergarten teachers' successful experiences and perception about teaching. A qualitative design was implemented to understand the developmental process of becoming successful teacher. Four successful kindergarten' teachers were interviewed. The data were transcribed and then analyzed using content analysis. Validity and credibility of the study was established using four criteria: researcher as instrument statement, member checking, triangulation, and peer debriefing. The findings were reported using case-by-case analysis presentation, followed by a cross-case presentation. The overall findings of the study were illustrated in three categories: first, the nature of teaching as a creative and caring profession, which involved kindergarten teacher subject matter knowledge, skills and values; second, teachers' competency and quality, which explained teachers' qualifications of teaching and managing the classroom and ability of making attractive and caring learning environment; and third, teacher professional development, which indicted teachers' needs for workshops that involve theoretical considerations and practical applications.
