To answer the study questions, data obtained from (48) normal couples, and (50) divorced couples was entered at the SPSS program, means, and the standard deviations are calculated, to investigate the significant differences among divorced and normal couples, then the Multivariate analysis is computed. The results showed that the husbands from the divorced couples and the normal couples had higher means in the survival stances being super reasonable and placating more than the wives from the divorced and the normal couples, but the wives who are from divorced and normal couples had higher means in blaming and irrelevant survival stances of communication patterns more than the husbands from the divorced and the normal couples. The Multivariate results indicated that there were significant differences among husbands and wives in survival stances: blaming, irrelevant of communication patterns in favor of the wives, and the survival stances being super reasoning and placating of communication patterns in favor of the husbands .The study ended by some recommendations.
