المستخلص: حاولت هذه الدراسة البحث في مكانة التراث وتأويله عند غادامير، وذلك من خلال تحليل أهم المفاهيم التي قدمها غادامير لفهم التراث، وتأويله على أسس جديدة. فتأويل التراث اليوم تتنازعه عدة اتجاهات ومدارس، يحاول كل منها تقديم تصورات مختلفة عن علاقة التراث بالحاضر، وكيف يمكن التعامل مع سلطة التراث؟ وهل المؤول أم النص هو الذي يعطي المعنى للتراث؟ فإذا كان التأويل موجوداً قبل غادامير، ولاسيما عند شلايرماخر ودلتا ي وهيدغز فإنه أخذ مساراً جديداً على يد غادامير، ولذلك فإن هذه الدراسة أرادت تحليل الإضافات الجديدة التي قدمها غادامير، والآثار التي تركتها على الفلسفات المهتمة بالتراث. فالمهم بالنسبة إلى التراث عند غادامير هو الشيء المشترك بيننا وبينه، لأن تأويل التراث مسألة عملية وليست تأملية، كما أن الحاضر هو الذي يفرض علينا وعياً معيناً بالتراث، مما يعني أن الحاضر هو جزء من التراث، وليس مفصلاً عنه. هكذا لم يعد التأويل يعود إلى قارئ التراث، ولا إلى النص المستحضر، بقدر ما يعود إلى الدور والوظيفة التي يمكن أن يقوم بها التراث بالنسبة إلى الحاضر وأزماته.

This study tries to investigate the position of heritage and its interpretation according to Gadamere. This is through analyzing the most important concepts which Gadamere presented to understand heritage and interpret it on new bases. Currently, the interpretation of heritage is the subject of many trends and schools. Each of which tries to present different visions about the relationship between heritage and the present time, how to deal with the influence of heritage, and how to answer the question whether is it the interpreted text or the source one that gives meaning to heritage? Interpretation had existed before Gadamere, especially with Schleirmacher, Deltai and Heidger, but it took a new course with Gadamere. Therefore, this study aims at analyzing the new addition that Gadamere introduced and the influences it left on the philosophies concerned with heritage. What important to Gadamere is the thing that is common between us and heritage. This is because interpreting heritage is a practical question and not a contemplative one. The present imposes a particular awareness of heritage on us, which means that the present is part of heritage and not separated from it. Thus, interpretation refers neither to the heritage reader nor to the existing text inasmuch as it refers to the role and function which heritage might take in the present and its crises.
