المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تقويم كفاءة قيام أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي بأدوارها الوظيفية ومدى استعدادها لمواجهة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشرين، وتبيان علاقتها بمتغير القسم /الكلية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تصميم أداتين لجمع البيانات، الأولى لمعرفة فاعلية قيام
أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بأدوارها الوظيفية، حيث ضمت (37) فقرة في صورتها النهائية، موزعة على المجالات الثلاثة: كفاءة التدريس، وفاعلية البحث العلمي، وخدمة المجتمع، والأداة الثانية لمعرفة مدى استعداد الأقسام والكليات لمواجهة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشرين، حيث ضمت (16) فقرة في صورتها النهائية، وقد تم التحقق من صدق الأداتين وثباتهما.
اشتملت عينة الدراسة على (75) عضوا من بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس في أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بجامعات دول مجلس التعاون . ولتحليل بيانات الدراسة والإجابة عن تساؤلاتها تم استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة، كالمتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، والتوزيعات التكرارية، والنسب المئوية، واختبار (ANOVA)، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ما يلي:
- إن تقديرات عينة الدراسة لكفاءة قيام أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بدول مجلس التعاون بأدوارها ووظائفها الرئيسة معظمها جاءت بدرجة متوسطة.
- أستاذ بقسم المناهج وطرق التدريس، كلية التربية الرياضية والعلاج الطبيعي، جامعة البحرين، مملكة البحرين.
- إن تقديرات عينة الدراسة لمدى استعداد أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بدول مجلس التعاون لمواجهة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشرين جاءت بدرجة متوسطة.
- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لكفاءة قيام أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بدول مجلس التعاون بأدوارها الوظيفية، ومدى استعدادها لمواجهة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشرين تعزى لمتغير القسم /الكلية.
وبناء على النتائج تقدمت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات التي يمكن أن تسهم في فاعلية قيام أقسام وكليات التربية الرياضية بدول مجلس التعاون بأدوارها الوظيفية، واستعدادها لمواجهة تحديات القرن الحادي والعشرين.


The present study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of the performance of the departments and colleges of physical education in the GCC countries in their functional roles and their readiness to meet the challenges of the 21st century, and to show their relationship with different department / college. To achieve the goals of the study, two data collection tools were designed, the first to determine the effectiveness of the departments and colleges of physical education in their roles, which included (37) paragraph in its final version, distributed across the three areas: the efficiency of teaching, and the effectiveness of scientific research and community service. The second tool was designed to determine the readiness of departments and colleges to meet the challenges of the 21st century, where it included (16) paragraphs in its final version, and the credibility of the instruments and their stability have been verified.
The study sample consisted of (75) members of the faculty members in the departments and colleges of physical education in universities of the GCC countries. To analyze the study data and answer its questions, the appropriate statistical methods were used, such as arithmetic mean, standard deviations, repeat distributions, percentages and the ANOVA test. The study showed the following results:
- Evaluations of the sample of the study for the efficiency of the departments and colleges of physical education in the GCC countries with their roles and main functions mostly came to a medium degree.
- Professor of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy, University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Evaluations of the sample of the study for the extent of readiness of the departments and colleges of physical education in the GCC to meet the challenges of the 21st century came to a medium degree.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the efficiency of the departments and colleges of physical education in the GCC countries in their functional roles and their readiness to meet the challenges of the 21st century due to the variable department/college.
Based on the results, the study presented a set of recommendations and suggestions that can contribute to the effectiveness of the sports departments and colleges of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in their functional roles and their readiness to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
