The research sought to shed light on the worlds of the characters in crisis in Broken Wishes stories. The research dealt with highlighting the characters within the fictional or narrative work, which he called the broken wishes, and it includes four wishes. The endings of the stories varied between a clear conviction of the personality regarding its destined fate and the ambiguity of the end in which it can not be determined to accept the fate or reject it. The personality of Adel Meshaal was satisfied with its fate, and its life path was determined accordingly. As for the characters of Askar Salman or Khudair Al-Iraqi, the stories did not clarify their positions, and did not show whether they are still seeking compensation or had enough of what happened to them. The results of the research found that Broken Wishes has overcome the apparent of the character to reach its crisis or internal conflict within an arbitrated narrative multidimensional framework in the semantic fields. Their wishes remained disabled and did not materialize because they were closer to their instincts more than to the mind. The research found that the natural language played its role in the textual context of the four stories on the basis of a special technique that woven mutual relations with the storytelling passages as well as its integrated coherence with artistic transitions, creating a suggestive signs that the reader feels and interacts within the textual structure. استهدف البحث تسليط الضوء على عوالم الشخصيات المأزومة في قصص أمنيات معطلة. وتناول البحث إبراز الشخصيات داخل العمل الروائي أو القصصي وسماها الأمنيات المعطلة وهي تضم أربع أمنيات. فتنوعت نهايات الحكايات بين قناعة جلية لدى الشخصية بما آل إليه مصيرها وبين غموض يشوب النهاية يتعذر معه تحديد قبولها المصير أو رفضه. فشخصية عادل مشعل اقتنعت بما انتهى مصيرها إليه فرسمت مسار حياتها على وفق ذلك. أما شخصية عسكر سلمان أو خضير العراقي فلم توضح الحكايات موقفها ولم تبين إن كانا ما يزالان ساعيين للتعويض أو اكتفيا بما حصل لديه لهما. وقد أسفرت نتائج البحث عن تخطى أمنيات معطلة الظاهر من الشخصية لتصل إلى أزمتها أو صراعها الداخلي في إطار سردي محكم متعدد الأبعاد في الحقول الدلالية. وأمنياتهم بقيت معطلة ولم تتحقق لأنها قريبة من النزوة أكثر من العقل. وتوصل البحث أن اللغة طبيعية أدت دورها في السياق النصي للحكايات الأربع على وفق تقنية خاصة نسجت علاقات متبادلة مع مقاطع النص الحكائى فضلا عن نسجها المتماسك الكلى بانتقالات فنية وخلق دلالة موحية يشعر بها القارئ ويتفاعل داخل البناء النصي. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
