لقد هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد مشكلات التربية العملية كما تراها الطالبات المعلمات في كلية التربية- جامعة الكويت. ولهذا الغرض تم بحث سؤالين من خلال اتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وفي الفصل الدراسي الأول لعام 2007/2006 شاركت 125 من الطالبات المعلمات في الإجابة على إستبانة مكونة من 52 عبارة موزعة على ستة محاور. وعكست إجابات الطالبات المعلمات خبرتهن ومشكلاتهن في التربية العملية في المناطق التعليمية الستة في دولة الكويت. ولقد تم استخدام (One Way ANOVA & t-test ) لتحليل نتائج الدراسة حيث دلت النتائج -علي عدم وجود فروق ذات دالة إحصائية للمتغيرات الديموغرافية بالنسبة لمحاور الدراسة وقد أسفرت الدراسة عن أن الإدارة المدرسية، إدارة الصف، تعاون المعلمين، ظروف الطالبات المعلمات، والتوجيه يشكلون مشكلات رئيسية لطالبات التربية العملية وخلصت الدراسة إلى بعض التوصيات وهي: 1) أن يكرس الطلبة المعلمين وقتهم للتربية العملية وذلك بعدم التسجيل في أي مقررات أخرى حتى يتسنى لهم الاستفادة القصوى من التربية العملية. 2) أن تعاون إدارات المدارس ومعلميها مع الطلبة المعلمين حتى يستفيدوا من تواجدهم في مدارس التربية العملية 3) أن تتعامل المدارس ومعلميها مع الطلبة المعلمين على كونهم معلمي المستقبل 4) أن يختار الموجهون الكلمات المناسبة عند تقييم الطلبة المعلمين حتى لا يحبطوهم ويقتلوا حب المهنة في أنفسهم. 5) أن يتفق الموجهون على طرق التدريس و الممارسات الصفية المفضلة لتقديمها للطلبة المعلمين لتفادي أي نوع من التشتيت لهم. 6) أن يقدم الموجهون طرق تدريس وتقنيات جديدة ومبتكرة. 7) أن يقدم مركز التربية العملية في الكلية الدعم للطلبة المعلمين إضافة إلى التسهيلات الممكنة لتفادي المشكلات التي يواجهونها في مدارس التربية العلمية
The present study explores the practicum problems which student-teachers encounter at Kuwait University. For that purpose, two research questions were investigated applying the descriptive analytical methodology. In the Fall Semester of 2006/2007, one hundred and twenty five student- teachers responded to a questionnaire consisted of six domains covering a total of fifty two closed items asking for their points of view. The opinions of the student-teachers reflected their practicum experience in the six educational districts in Kuwait. T-test and One Way ANOVA were used when appropriate to analyze data in relation to the research questions. T-test showed no significant difference in the investigated domains in relation to the demographic variables tested in the study. The findings of the study reveal that student- teachers encounter a range of practicum problems in school administration, classroom management, teachers’ cooperation, student-teachers' circumstances, and supervision. The study concluded with the following recommendations: 1) The student-teachers should be purely devoted to the practicum period. Therefore, they should not register in other courses when they do their practicum. 2) School administrations and their teaching staff should be cooperating with student- teachers to help them benefit from the practicum. 3) School administrations and their teaching staff should consider student-teachers future teachers and approach them from that perspective. 4) Supervisors should be careful in the judgment they give to student-teachers in order not kill their passion to the profession. 5) Supervisors should agree on teaching methods and classroom practices to avoid any confusions on the student-teachers’ side 6) Supervisors should provide student-teachers with innovative teaching methods and techniques. 7) The Field Experience Department at the College of Education should support the student- teachers and provide them with all the facilities they need to overcome their problems with the schools they do their practicum in
