On July 2015, Iran and the 5+1 Group, including the US, reached an accord on the Iranian nuclear issue after long negotiations. It hampers Tehran’s aspirations by extremely restricting the programme through an inspection system and a long-term censorship. In return, Iran shall have the international sanctions lifted. The agreement addresses several questions, such as enriching uranium, reactors working on heavy water, depleted fuel, agreement monitoring and lifting the sanctions. There are also articles on disputes over applying the accord. The present informative study reviews the main points of the agreement as well as the international, regional and Arab reactions. |
