المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين العدوان (الاستباقي، رد الفعل) والتعاطف (الوجداني والمعرفي) لدى المعاقين سمعيًّا، وكذلك معرفة أنواع العدوان التي يتسم به المعاقين سمعيًّا، وأيضًا التعرف على الفروق في بعدي العدوان والتعاطف لدى المعاقين سمعيًّا في ضوء متغير الجنس. وقد شملت عينة الدراسة (132) من المعاقين سمعيًّا (83) من الذكور، و(49) من الإناث، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم تطبيق مقياس العدوان: إعداد (Dodge & Coie, 1987)، ومقياس التعاطف من إعداد (Jolliffe & Farrington, 2006)، وقد قاما الباحثان بترجمة وتعريب المقياسين وتقنيهما على البيئة السعودية.
وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى:
1- وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائيًّا بين العدوان (الاستباقي، ورد الفعل) وبين التعاطف (الوجداني والمعرفي) لدى المعاقين سمعيًّا.
2- وجود فروق دالة إحصائية بين درجات الطلاب المعاقين سمعيًّا على مقياس العدوان في بعدي (العدوان الاستباقي – عدوان رد الفعل) لصالح بعد عدوان رد الفعل.
3- وجود فروق دالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات الذكور ومتوسط درجات الإناث من المعاقين سمعيًّا على مقياس العدوان (الاستباقي – رد الفعل) لصالح الذكور.
4- وجود فروق دالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات الذكور ومتوسط درجات الإناث من المعاقين سمعيًّا على مقياس التعاطف (الوجداني – المعرفي) لصالح الإناث.

The present study aims to identify the relationship between aggression (proactive, reactive) and empathy (emotional and cognitive) among the hearing impaired, as well as the types of aggression that characterize the hearing impaired. It also identifies the differences in the dimensions of aggression and empathy of the auditory disabled in the light of the gender variable. The sample of the study included 132 persons with auditory disabilities (83) males and 49 females. To achieve the objectives of the research, the Aggression Measure prepared by (Dodge & Coie, 1987) and the Sympathy Measure prepared by Joliffe & Farrington, 2006) have been applied. The researchers have translated and localized the two scales and applied them to the Saudi environment.
The results of the study indicated that:
1. There is a statistically significant negative correlation between aggression (proactive, reactive) and empathy (emotional and cognitive) in the hearing impaired.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the degrees of students with hearing disabilities on the scale of aggression in the two dimensions (pre-emptive aggression — reactive aggression) in favour of reactive aggression dimension.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and the average scores of females with hearing disabilities on the scale of aggression (proactive - reactive) in favour of males.
4- There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and the average scores of females with hearing disabilities on the scale of empathy (emotional - cognitive) in favour of females.
