هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على معوقات البحث العلمي التي تواجه طالبات مرحلة الدكتوراه، بقسم الإدارة التربوية في جامعة الملك سعود، وكذلك الكشف عن الفروق حول هذه المعوقات باختلاف متغيرات (العمر، مدى إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية، الدورات التدريبية في مجال البحث العلمي)، ثم تقديم بعض المقترحات التي تحد من معوقات البحث العلمي لدى طالبات الدكتوراه بقسم الإدارة التربوية بجامعة الملك سعود. ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وذلك بتطبيق أداة الدراسة (الاستبانة)، حيث تم تطبيقها على كل مجتمع الدراسة وهو طالبات الدكتوراه بقسم الإدارة التربوية بجامعة الملك سعود، والبالغ عددهن (44 طالبة). وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أبرزها: 1. أن هناك موافقة بدرجة كبيرة بين أفراد عينة الدراسة على معوقات البحث العلمي التي تواجه طالبات مرحلة الدكتوراة بقسم الإدارة التربوية في جامعة الملك سعود من وجهة نظرهن، وجاءت مرتبة تنازليا كما يلي: المعوقات الاجتماعية، يليها المعوقات الإدارية، وأخيرا المعوقات الذاتية. 3. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في وجهات نظر الطالبات حول المعوقات الذاتية والاجتماعية للبحث العلمي لدى طالبات الدكتوراه بقسم الإدارة التربوية في جامعة الملك سعود باختلاف متغير العمر، إلا أنه توجد فروق حول المعوقات الإدارية باختلاف العمر وذلك لصالح الطالبات اللاتي عمرهن 35 سنة فأكثر. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في وجهات نظر الطالبات حول معوقات البحث العلمي لدى طالبات الدكتوراه بقسم الإدارة التربوية في جامعة الملك سعود تعزي إلى مستوى إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية، والالتحاق ببرامج تدريبية في مجال البحث العلمي. 4. من أهم المقترحات التي تحد من معوقات البحث العلمي لدى طالبات الدكتوراه بقسم الإدارة التربوية بجامعة الملك سعود هي إقامة دورات للطالبات في اللغة الإنجليزية تساعدهن على اكتساب مهارات القراءة والترجمة، وتكثيف حلقات النقاش وورش العمل والدورات التدريبية التي تني المهارات البحثية لدى الطالبات.
This study aimed to identify the scientific research obstacles that faced by the doctorate stage students of at the department of Educational Administration at King Saud University, as well as disclosing the differences around these obstacles based on the variables (age, the extent of English language proficiency, training courses in the field of scientific research), and submitting some proposals that limit the scientific research obstacles for the doctorate students of the Department of educational administration at King Saud University. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey methodology, through applying the study tool (questionnaire), which have been applied with all the study population, represented the doctorate students of the department of educational administration at King Saud University, with their number (44 students). The study had concluded a number of results, the most important of them: 1. There is a large degree of consent among the study sample towards the scientific research obstacles that faced by the doctorate students of the Department of Educational Administration at King Saud University, from their viewpoint, as they came descending order as follows: social obstacles, followed by administrative obstacles, and finally self-obstacles. 2. There were no statistically significant differences regarding the students viewpoint towards the self and social obstacles of the scientific research among the doctorate students of the department of educational administration at King Saud University, based on the variable of age differences, but there are differences towards the administrative obstacles based on the variable of age, on behalf of the students who are 35 years and older. 3. There were no statistically significant differences regarding the students viewpoint towards the self and social obstacles of the scientific research among the doctorate students of the department of educational administration at King Saud University, back to the level of English language proficiency, and enrollment in training programs in the field of scientific research. The most important proposals that limit the scientific research obstacles among the doctorate students of the department of educational administration at King Saud University are conducting training courses for the students in English language where these courses will help them acquiring reading and translation skills, and conducing intensive seminars, workshops and training courses which develop the research skills among students
