المستخلص: تتناول الدراسة الأمثال الكويتية من منظور بنيوي. وهذا الاتجاه في تحليل الأمثال هو منحى جديد في الدراسة لم يلتفت إليه سوى فئة قليلة من دارسي الفولكلور. أما في العالم العربي فلم نعثر على بحث سابق درس الأمثال من هذا الجانب. واقتصرت أغلب الدراسات على الجمع والتبويب والفهرسة. وبناء على ذلك فقد وجدنا من المهم جدا تطبيق المنهج البنيوي في تحليل الأمثال الكويتية، وتسليط الضوء على مضامينها العميقة، ودلالاتها الوظيفية، من حيث كونها تعبيرا عن حكمة المجتمع، ووسيلة مهمة في التواصل الاجتماعي بين الناس، سواء محليا أم عربيا أم عالميا.
وانطلاقا من ذلك فقد عرضنا لتعريف المثل، ورصد وظيفته الاجتماعية، وأشرنا إلى أهم الدراسات التي تناولت الأمثال من جانب بنيوي، وبينا مكونات المثل، وخصائصه البلاغية، وتتبعنا ظاهرة القياس والتقابل في الأمثال، وكشفنا عن تراكيب المثل الفنية، وأشرنا إلى سمة المجاز في المثل، وتتبعنا ظاهرة الثبات والتغير في الأمثال.
وفي ضوء ما سبق خلصنا إلى أن الأمثال هي ظاهرة لغوية تتشكل وفق منظومة الأصوات والأوزان والإيقاعات. وإن أكثر سماتها وضوحا يدور حول كونها موجزة، وذات تراكيب مزدوجة. وان قيمة الأمثال في المجتمع تتأسس على تأثيرها البلاغي، وقدرتها على الانتقال من التجربة الخاصة إلى العمومية والتجريد، لتغدو صالحة لكل زمان ومكان.


The study addresses Kuwaiti proverbs from the structural perspective. This approach in analyzing proverbs is a new trend in respect to study which none have paid attention to apart from a small group of folklore students. As for in the Arab world, then we do not find any prior research which has studied the proverbs from this angle. Most of the studies have been limited to collating classifications and indexes. Consequently, we have found it to be very important to apply the structural approach to analyze the Kuwaiti proverbs and to shed light upon its deep contents and functional indicative meanings, in terms of it being an expression of the society’s wisdom and an important means of social communication amongst the people; whether locally or on an Arab and global level.
As such, we have presented the definition of the proverb and monitored its social function. We have indicated to the most significant studies addressing the proverbs from a structural aspect and explained the components of the proverb and its rhetorical eloquence characteristics. We examined the phenomenon of analogy and congruence in respect to the proverbs and revealed the artistic compositions of the proverb, just as we indicated to the characteristic of the metaphor within the proverb and examined the phenomenon of constancy and variance within the proverbs.
In light of the aforementioned, we concluded that the proverbs represent a linguistic phenomenon which is formed according to a system of sounds, weights and rhythms. Its clearest characteristics revolve around them being metaphorical and possessing double-edged compositions. We also concluded that the value of the proverbs within the society is founded upon the effect of their rhetorical eloquence and their ability to be transfered from a specific experience to generality and divesture, enabling them to be valid in every time and place.
