The aim of this study is to investigate the role of hygroscopic agents in pretreatment process before printing with ink jet machine using reactive dyes. This study examines the performance of digital ink jet printing on cotton fabrics by using different hygroscopic agents in pretreatment bath, the results show that, the color yield of ink printing with reactive dyes on cotton fabrics by using 20 gm/L thiourea in presence of 100 gm/1 urea, was greater (4.4%) than traditional pretreatment. |
