احتوى البحث على مقدمة وخمسة مباحث: المبحث الأول: ترجمة موجزة لزيد بن علي رضي الله عنه وثناء علماء السنة عليه. المبحث الثاني: براءة زيد بن علي من مذهب الرفض. المبحث الثالث: براءة زيد بن علي من مذهب الاعتزال. المبحث الرابع: كلام أهل العلم عن الكتب المنسوبة إلى زيد بن علي رضي الله عنه. المبحث الخامس: أتباع زيد بن علي الحقيقيون. نتائج البحث: أولاً: أئمة آل البيت رضي الله عنه أئمة لأهل السنة والجماعة. ثانيا: براءة زيد بن علي مما افتراه أهل الرفض والاعتزال. ثالثا: أتباع زيد هم المتبعون للكتاب والسنة وآثار سلف الأمة رضي الله عنهم. رابعا: خروج زيد بن علي خطأ لا يوافق عليه لمخالفته للنصوص. خامسا: عدم صحة ما نسب إلي زيد من كتب ومؤلفات. التوصيات: أولاً: تدريس براءة زيد بن علي رضي الله عنه للأجيال المسلمة حصانة لهم من الأهواء المضللة. ثانيا: نشر تلك البراءة عبر وسائل الإعلام ردا على إعلام أهل البدع المضلل.
The paper includes a foreword and five chapters: 1) A concise biography of Zayd bin 'Ali and the praise of the scholars of the Sunnah for him. 2) Clearance of Zayd bin 'Ali from the Rafidite sect. 3) Clearance of Zayd bin 'Ali from the Mu‟tazilite sect. 4) The statements of the scholars regarding the books attributed to Zayd bin ''Ali. 5) The true followers of Zayd bin ''Ali. Results of the research: 1) The Imams of the Prophet‟s household are also imams of Ahlus-Sunnah. 2) The clearance of Zayd bin 'Ali from what the Rafidites and the Mu‟tazilites fabricated about him. 3) The followers of Zayd are followers of the Qur‟an, the Sunnah and the narration of the pious predecessors. 4) The rebelling of Zayd bin 'Ali was a mistake and is not to be agreed with due to its clear contradiction to the Islamic texts. 5) The lack of authenticity regarding the books and the writings that has been attributed to Zayd. Recommendations: 1) Teaching the clearance of Zayd bin 'Ali to the Muslim generations is a form of defending of them from falling in to misguiding aspirations. 2) Spreading this clearance via the various forms of media to refute the media of the misguided innovators.
