هدف البحث إلى التعرف على بعض من أدوار التربية الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورتي الدين و النفس، ونوعية المنهج الإسلامي في حمايتها وصيانتها . شمل البحث فصلين: الأول: بعض من أدوار التربية الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورة الدين ، والثاني: بعض من أدوار التربية الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورة النفس. ومن أهم نتائج البحث: تتبعت التربية الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورة الدين المنهج التدريجي، الذي اهتم بحفظ الدين بداية من خلق الروح المؤمنة ، ثم تكوين الفطرة السليمة، ثم إرسال الرسل لإعادتها إلى الطريق القويم حين انحرفت عن جادة الصواب ، ثم عن طريق استخدام المعجزات . وتتبعت الشريعة الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورة النفس المنهج الكلي، الذي تعامل مع النفس البشرية من حيث كونها كل مركب من جسم وروح وعقل ونفس ، ويشكل متكامل متجانس متوازن . وكان من أدوار التربية الإسلامية في حفظ ضرورة الدين عدة أدوار منها: الدور العقدي الذي استهدف تربية الإنسان على الفطرة السليمة الموجبة للإيمان بالله تعالى وحده وبملائكته وكتبه ورسله وباليوم الآخر وبالقدر خيره و شره إيمانا تاما، والدور التعبدي الداعي إلى إقامة العبادات بمختلف أنواعها وبطريقة استشعارية تشعر الإنسان بقيمة وبأجر ولذة ممارسة العبادات ، والدور الفكري الذي يدعو لحفظ أفكار الدين الإسلامي ككل من التشوية أو التعييب أو النيل من شرائعه . وتمثلت أدوار التربية النفسية في حفظ النفس في دورين رئيسين ، هما: الدور المادي والدور المعنوي ، فالدور المادي يعني صيانة النفس وحفظها بكفالة حمايتها من كل أذى أو تشويه أو قتل مع صيانة كرامتها، حتى من قبل صاحبها، ويمتد هذا الحفظ ليشمل النفوس التي لم تخلق بعدو النفوس الميتة ، وأما الدور المعنوي فإنه يعني حفظ النفس عن طريق تربيتها على أداء العبادات وتحريضها على لذة الاستشعار بها، وعن طريق تزكية النفس من خلال إكسابها طيب الأخلاق، ومن خلال علاجها نفسيا من خلال ممارسة بعض العبادات .
