And the Historical practice of this concepts are blended with the expansionist colonial missionary wave, that the Islamic and Arabic world don’t accept them, Although they where adopted by the Arab elites Without taking into account the specificities of peoples and differing stages of history experienced by communities This was the Obstacles against the modernity in Arabic world, Moreover the advocates of modernity where Christian like chebli chamil, yacob saroof, fareh Antoine, Nicola hadad, slama moussa, wali edine yaken, Louis awad... Regardless of Integrity of this thesis (who Arabic and Islamic world can progress?), they were rejected by the Islamic speech , because they are not a Muslim thinker. And they have not a relation with the Islamic civilization, and they are Loyal to the colonial West. So the Islamic speech was very Skeptic against modernity, because he pretend that it is a cultural alienation and it is the face of the west invasion. This speech Suggested other concepts like "el-hakimia" against laicism, and "el-choora" against democracy, and " saultat el nass" the Authority of Scripture against rationality, and "el-firkha elnadjia" survivor Band against the plurality. This article treat the problematic of modernity in the Arabic world. |
