It decreased to 44.5% in 2012/2013. - The smallest Proportion of household expenditures on food and drink in the last slide 80-100% where 32.5% in 2010/2011 compared to 29.3% in 2012/2013. - Families that have annual income under 10000 pounds, spend 51.5% of total income on food and drink group, (24.8%) on the housing and its requirements, (11.5%) on services, health care and less than 1% on culture, entertainment and education. - The highest annual expenditures on total food and drink (37%) followed by housing and related items (17.7%), services and other health care (8.3%). transport and communications (5.8%) and the lowest percentage of expenditures on culture and recreation (2%) for the head of the household who is to be gainfully employed. - Decline in spending on food, drink and higher spending on education, culture and entertainment whenever the profession of the head of the household is elevated.
