هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بيان دعائم السلام الاجتماعي في الأسرة وذلك بالوقوف عند معنى السلام في اللغة أولاً ، حيث ذكر علماء اللغة بأن السلام هو الأمان والتسليم والسلامة والسلم ، كما أن تعريف السلام في الاصطلاح لا يقف عند السلام السلبي والذي يعني غياب الحرب وإنما الأمر يتجاوز ذلك إلى السلام الايجابي والذي يعني غياب الاستغلال وإيجاد العدل الاجتماعي ، كما أوضح البحث معنى السلام الاجتماعي والذي يعتبر غياب كل مظاهر العنف والقهر والخوف في المجتمع لأن السلام هو عملية اجتماعية لها العديد من المستويات وذلك بدءً بالسلام العائلي ـ أي على مستوى العائلة ـ ثم المجتمعي فالإقليمي فالدولي ، فالسلام الاجتماعي هو إذاً حالة من الوئام والمصالحة بين جميع المكونات السكانية ، كما بينت الدراسة مصطلح الأسرة وذلك باعتبارها اللبنة الأولى في تكوين المجتمع ، فلأسرة هي الخلية التي تقوم بتنظيم وتسيير حياة وأمور أفرادها وتحقق حاجاتهم. أما السلام الأسري فهو توفير الحب والوئام والاستقرار والتطور بين أفراد الأسرة وتعزيز ثقافة السلم في حل الصراعات والنزاعات التي تنشب بين أفرادها في أوقات الكدر ، كما أوضحت الدراسة المكانة الرفيعة لهذه الأسرة في الشريعة الإسلامية وكيف حافظت عليها وما زالت مع إجراء مقارنة بين مكانة الأسرة في الإسلام والجاهلية وبيان الفرق الواضح في ذلك ، كما وقفت الدراسة عند مظاهر السلام في تكوين هذه الأسرة والتي تتمثل في: 1/ اختيار الزوج والزوجة على أساس شرعي حتى تستمر العلاقة بين أفرادها وهذا لا يتأتى إلا بتوافر الرضا والاستئذان ، والإعلان والاشهاد ونية التأبيد حتى يتماسك بنيانها ولا يكون قابلاً للتفكك والانهيار مع القيام بالحقوق والواجبات من كل أطراف الأسرة ، ثم بينت الدراسة أهم دعائم السلام في الأسرة المسلمة والمتمثلة في العدل والمساواة والرفق والإحسان مع تعريف غير مخل لكل هذه المصطلحات والوقوف عند بعض النصوص التي أشارت إليها من كتاب ربنا تعالى وسنة نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم وتعزيز ذلك ببعض الآثار التي ذكرها سلف هذه الأمة ، ومن دعائم السلام الأسري كذلك ، حسن الظن والطاعة بالمعروف ، فحسن الظن من الأسباب الداعمة لاستقرار الأسرة ، وهناك العديد من المسائل التي تعين على حسن الظن كالدعاء وحمل الكلام على أحسن المحامل والتماس الأعذار للآخرين وتجنب الحكم على النيات وغيرها من الأسباب المعينة عليه ، أما الطاعة فقد حثت الشريعة الإسلامية عليها لدوام الاستقرار الأسري ، والنصوص في ذلك مستفيضة ، ومن دعائم السلام الأسري أيضاً اظهار المودة والحب والصبر على السلوك السيئ. فالمودة والرحمة دوحة يستظل فيها الزوجان ، كما أن المودة والرحمة من أعظم مقاصد النكاح ، أما الصبر على السلوك السيئ لا بد منه لإتمام المودة والرحمة بين الزوجين لأن الاحتكاك اليومي بين الزوجين وكثرة المشاغل والمسؤوليات الملقاة على عاتقهما تثير بعض الخلافات والنزاعات بينهما الأمر الذي يتطلب نهج أسلوب الحكمة والمداراة للوصول إلى أنجح الوسائل في حلها وذلك ضماناً لاستمرارية الحياة الأسرية والحفاظ على كيانها ، وأخيراً اشتمل البحث على أهم النتائج وأبرز التوصيات ، فمن النتائج على سبيل المثال ما يلي: 1/ من مظاهر السلام في تكوين الأسرة ، اختيار الزوجة والزوج ، ضمانات قبل وبعد الزواج. 2/ السلام الاجتماعي يعني غياب كل مظاهر العنف والقهر والخوف في المجتمع ، والسلام لا يعني فقط غياب الحرب ، كما أنه ليس فقط ظاهرة سياسية ، ولكنه يعبر عن عملية اجتماعية لها العديد من المستويات.
