هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أسباب الفساد الإدارى من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية بجامعة نجران، واستخدمت المنهج الوصفي التحليلى، وشملت العينة (85) من العمداء ووكلائهم ورؤساء الأقسام، وتوصلت إلى أن الأسباب التى تؤدى للفساد الإدارى هى: ضعف الوعى بالنتائج التى يؤدى إليها الفساد الإدارى، وشيوع المجاملات والمنافع المتبادلة، وانتشار ظاهرة النفاق الإدارى، ومحدودية توافر معايير عادلة لاختيار القيادات، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية فى استجابات عينة الدراسة حول الأسباب التى تؤدى للفساد الإدارى تعود لمتغيرات طبيعية العمل، ونوع التخصص، والجنس، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة توعية العاملين بالنتائج التى يؤدى إليها الفساد الإدارى، وقدمت مقترحاً حول دراسة أسباب الفساد الإدارى فى مؤسسات أخرى أكاديمية وغير أكاديمية.
This study aimed to identify the causes of administrative corruption, the study used a descriptive analytical method, the study sample included (85) of Deans, Vice Deans and Department Heads, and results of the study revealed that the main causes of administrative corruption are lack of awareness with the outcomes of that corruption, and the spread of complements and mutual benefits, as well as the spread of administrative hypocrisy, moreover the absence of obvious criteria to choose the leaders. The results showed that there were no significant differences among the responses of the study sample regarding the causes of corruption based on type of work, specialization and gender, the study recommended to increase the awareness of the staff with the bad effects of administrative corruption. The study proposed to study the causes of administrative corruption in other academic and non-academic institutions.
