The current study attempted to identify the Saudi EFL teachers’ beliefs about the pedagogical value of using games in foreign language classrooms, their attitudes towards the possibility of using games in grammar teaching, their view of the effectiveness of using games in teaching grammar to young learners, and to what extent they make use of games while teaching grammar. In Order to achieve these goals, the researcher used the quantitative and qualitative approach and used the questionnaire to collect the data from the research sample. The research sample consisted of twenty six female EFL teachers in 8 different primary schools in Zulfi Province. The findings of the study revealed that Saudi EFL teachers believe that using games in foreign language classrooms is a highly significant issue. Also, the fmdings showed that the teachers see that games can be used in grammar teaching, games are effective in teaching grammar to young learners, and that games can be used to teach every grammatical aspect. It was also shown that the teachers are willing to use the games while teaching grammar as much as possible. Moreover, the findings had shown that the teachers see five main advantages for using games in EFL classes; they are a source of motivation and interest, they maintain learners’ activeness, they are a source of fun, they make the students feel comfortable and unstressed, and they are easier and faster than the traditional methods. The researcher recommended that the teachers should be trained on how to use games in their EFL classes and achieve the maximum benefit from them.
