المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى بيان عوامل أحجام بعض أساتذة التربية عن الاستمرارية في الإنتاجية البحثية، كما يهدف إلى اقتراح الحلول الملائمة لمواجهة هذه العوامل وقد تم تحقيق هذا الهدف باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، والذي مكن الباحث من أن يبنى دراسته في جزءين أساسيين كالتالي: الأول: الإطار النظري للبحث والذي تمثل في موضوعين هما: 1- واقع البحث العلمي في مصر 2- بعض الاتجاهات العالمية في مجال البحث العلمي الثاني: تمثل في الدراسة الميدانية والتي قامت على وسيلتين هما: 1- الاستبانة 2-المقابلة الشخصية وقد توصل البحث إلى أن رؤية أساتذة كليات التربية لعوامل أحجام البعض منهم عن الاستمرار في الإنتاجية البحثية تتدرج تحت أربعة محاور: 1- المحور الأول يرتبط بضعف سياسة الجامعة نحو تحفيز الأساتذة 2- المحور الثاني يتعلق بالعوامل المحبطة لمعنويات ومشاعر الأساتذة خاصة في البيئة المحيطة 3- المحور الثالث يقوم بعرض طرق وإمكانيات تسويق الأبحاث 4- المحور الخامس يستعرض الأسباب الشخصية المتعلقة بالأساتذة أنفسهم هذا وقد تم تصنيف الحلول المقترحة للتغلب على عوامل الأحجام تحت نفس المحاور، وفى النهاية خلص البحث إلى التوصية بضرورة الاستفادة من الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة وكذلك تسليط الضوء على توفير التمويل اللازم للبحث العلمي وذلك لحفز وتشجيع الأساتذة لأجراء المزيد من الأبحاث وأيضا على طرق وإمكانات تسويق الأبحاث. لهذا يوصى البحث الحالي وبشدة بضرورة أجراء مزيد من الأبحاث للتعرف على رؤى لأساتذة آخرين من مجالات ودوائر علمية مختلفة حتى تكتمل الصورة.

The major objective of the present study is to focus on the factors causing some college professors to refrain from continuing their research productivity especially after getting the degree of professor, A second and equally important objective is to present the suggested solutions behind this problem. The descriptive approach has been adopted to achieve these objectives. Therefore the study comes in two fundamental parts: Part One: The theoretical framework under which two basic issues are subsumed: A- the reality of the scientific research in Egypt; B- some world trends in scientific research. Part Two: The Field study is based on two research tools. A- a questionnaire, and B- a personal interview The study has revealed significant findings with regard to the factors behind the discontinuation of research by college professors. These factors go under four main Axes as follows: 5- The first axis displays the factors pending with the policy of the university represented in poor research funding and inadequate motivation of professors. 6- The second axis has to do with the frustrating factors that stand against the ambitions of coliege professors.3- The third axis presents the ways of marketing research, and finally 4- The last axis shows the factors that have to do with personal issues of these professors. With regard to the Solutions suggested, the researcher has classified and made them to go under the same axes above. Finally, the study strongly recommends that there is a dire need to make use of world trends in doing research, there should be an adequate research funding so as to encourage professors to continue their research productivity and we need to know how, when and where to market research. Doing further research is a very fundamental step in order for us to be acquainted with more perspectives of other college professors in different education circles and fields to get the complete image.
