The effectiveness of political trust rests upon a number of components which contribute to building that trust. The conviction of the governing regime in the importance of the role of political trust is regarded to be the most effective component in relation to realizing affiliation, building state institutions and building political trust in the citizen, which would push him to strengthen his bond of affiliation and belonging with the state. That is because this bond contributes to the realization of political stability and the extending of bridges of cooperation, which results in the development of the partnership relationship between the citizen and the state, whilst the continuation of political trust is dependent upon the ruling regime being expressive of the wishes and aspirations of the citizens. The transitional stages following revolutions are considered to be the most difficult periods to build the trust, due to what those stages experience in terms of conflicts which impact the management of the stage.
