This article discusses Arab and European dealings with African slaves and how each party handled this issue. Westerners accuse Arabs of enslaving Africans, and hold them accountable for the disastrous consequences. They attempt to convince Africans that Arabs destroyed their countries and tore them apart, enslaved their sons, and started the notorious slave trade. The West has a purpose, that is, to distort the Africans’ image of Arabs, and to widen the gap between Arabs and Africans. Nevertheless, this goal failed because Africans are not deceived by such claims; rather, they compare between the positions of Arabs and those of Europeans, noticing how Westerners treated them; uprooted African youth from the continent and took them to work in Western countries; killed African children, elderly and women; burned villages and towns; and attempted to eliminate the African identity and Westernize Africans. This article attempts to clarify all of that
