أن الدول على اختلاف فلسفتها وأهدافها تولى مهنة التعليم والارتقاء بمستوى أداء المعلم كل اهتمامها وعنايتها كونه أحدى الدعائم الأساسية بين مدخلات العملية التعليمية, فقوة العملية التعليمية ومدى تحقيق الأهداف التربوية والارتقاء بمستوى أداء الطلاب مرهون بمستوى أداء المعلم وامتلاكه للعديد من المتطلبات المهنية, وعلى هذا الأساس يمكن القول بأن مقدار العناية والاهتمام بنوعية برامج إعداد وتدريب المعلم في أي مجتمع من المجتمعات يعكس مدى مسؤولية ذلك المجتمع تجاه مستقبل أجياله. وفي هذا الصدد ينبغي التأكيد على إننا في حاجة ماسة أن يتدرب المعلم على أن يهتم بتنمية كافة الجوانب للمتعلم, وخاصة الجانب الوجداني, لأنه يؤثر في القدرة والاستعداد الشخصي له, وكذلك في مجهوده ومثابرته وتحمله للمسؤولية, الأمر الذي يتطلب بيئة تعليمية تشعر المتعلمين بالاستمتاع والإثارة, وذلك من خلال استخدام المعلم للكمبيوتر وبرامجه المختلفة في التدريس للطلاب, وأيضاً من خلال أعداد المادة العلمية بواسطة تلك البرامج والتدريب على استخدام شبكة المعلومات الدولية الإنترنت والاستفادة من مصادر المعرفة المتاحة. وقد اتضح في ضوء المسح الأدبي لهذا الجانب أن تنمية وعي وإدراك المتعلم لما اكتسبه من معرفة, وما يدور بذهنه من عمليات إلى جانب قدرته على التعبير عن أفكاره وأداءاته الذهنية بشكل صحيح, بالإضافة إلى مرونته في معالجة المشكلات, وسرعته في الأداء مع تعدد طرق المعالجة, كل هذا يتأتى بتنمية الحس العلمي لدى الطلاب, ولذلك يسعى البحث الحالي إلى إعداد برنامج تدريبي مقترح لمعلمي العلوم قائم على استخدام تقنيات الحاسوب والإنترنت لتدريبهم على ممارسات الحس العلمي لتنميته لدى طلابهم, وهذا الهدف يعكس أهمية التدريب وأهم الأهداف المرجوة من تحقيقه بالأسلوب العلمي الصحيح. وللتأكد من صحة ذلك اقترحنا إعداد مقياس للحس العلمي واختبار التحصيل المعرفي في أبعاد الحس العلمي وممارساته, ومقياس الاتجاه نحو تطبيق أبعاد وممارسات الحس العلمي وموديولات البرنامج التدريبي وتجهيز متطلباته, وفي ضوء معالجة البيانات سوف يتم التوصل إلى نتائج نضع في ضوئها اقتراح المعالجات والتوصيات التي يتيسر تنفيذها على أسس علمية وظروف واقعية.
