المستخلص: This study attempts to uncover one of the local sources that tell us one of the important and famous battles in the history of Algeria during the modern era, namely Aurelie’s invasion on the city of Algeria. This invasion took place in the last quarter of the eighteenth century AD. One of the scholars of Algeria has recorded this incident in his book; titled ‘al-Zahrah al-Nairah fima jara fil Jazair heena agharat aliahal kafarah’ as he was one of the attendees and participants at this event. From the manuscript of this book we have selected very important part in order to edit it and present it for the benefit of the readers. According to the statement made in manuscript it was written on the request of one of the famous ruler of Algeria during the Ottoman era, named ‘Mohammed Bay al-Kabir’. Who retrieved his rule in his time from the hand of Spanish occupier in 1792 AD.
