المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى قياس فاعلية برنامج مقترح قائم على جغرافية الأماكن الدينية المقدسة لتنمية الوعي بها وأبعاد الحوار الديني للطلاب المعلمين بكلية التربية شعبة الجغرافيا. ولتحقيق ذلك تم إعداد قائمة بأبعاد الحوار الديني ومقياس وعي بالأماكن الدينية المقدسة واختبار مواقف لأبعاد الحوار الديني وبرنامج تدريسي اشتمل على خمسة موضوعات عن جغرافية الأماكن المقدسة. وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث قبليا وبعديا على مجموعة البحث والتي تكونت من (32) طالب من طلاب الفرقة الثالثة شعبة الجغرافيا بكلية التربية جامعة عين شمس. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائياً عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي في كل من مقياس الوعي بالأماكن المقدسة واختبار المواقف لأبعاد الحوار الديني لصالح التطبيق البعدي. وأوصى البحث بضرورة إعادة النظر في أهداف البرامج التدريبية لمعلمي الدراسات الاجتماعية عامة ومدرسي الجغرافيا خاصة بحيث يتم التركيز على أبعاد الحوار الديني وجغرافية الأماكن الدينية المقدسة.

The current research aimed at measuring the effectiveness of a suggested program based on the geography of the sacred religious places for developing of awareness of them and religious dialogue dimensions for Student Teachers in the Faculty of Education department of Geography. In order to achieve the objective of this study, a list of the religious dialogue dimensions, A scale for measuring awareness of the sacred religious places, a situation test for dialogue dimensions were prepared. A teaching program that included five topics about the geography of the sacred religious places was also prepared. Research tools were administered to the research group which consisted of (32) students from Geography department, 3rd grade, Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University. The results revealed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of students in the pre- and post-test administrations in the scale for measuring awareness of the sacred religious places and the situation test for religious dialogue dimensions favoring the post-test administration. The research recommended reconsidering the objectives of the training programs for social studies teachers in General and especially Geography teachers where the focus should be on religious dialogue dimensions and the geography of sacred religious places.
