|b \ With the oil shock of the 1970’s that put an end to the era of the almost symbolic price free acquisition of the available fossil energy, the industrialized economies awakened at last to the perspective of a “costly” resource that is also doomed to its ultimate extinction for the forthcoming decades. Such a catalytic context prompted and favored the emergence of the paradigm of “sustainable development”, which declines itself as a dedicated model in being openly conscious about the necessity of preserving the planet resources. The present article demystifies this approach which thus reveals in essence a discourse basically dedicated to the continuum of the same global capitalist practices.
|d \ Avec le choc pétrolier des années 1970 qui consacra définitivement la fin de la période de la quasi gratuité de l’acquisition de l’énergie fossile disponible, les pays industrialisés s’éveillent enfin à la perspective d’une ressource définitivement «coûtante » et désormais soumise à la perspective de son extinction quasi certaine pour les quelques décennies à venir. Ce contexte catalyseur favorisa l’émergence du paradigme du « développement durable », perçu comme le model idoine d’une gestion des ressources de la planète perçues sous l’angle de leur préservation. Le présent article démystifie cette approche qui révèle surtout un discours essentiellement légitimateur du continuum des mêmes pratiques capitalistes globalisées de développement.
