|a في ظل الطفرة الصناعية والتطور التكنولوجي الذي صاحبه الكثير من الآثار غير المرغوب فيها، استدعى الأمر إدراج البعد البيئي ضمن سياسات واستراتيجيات السياحة وذلك من أجل حماية البيئة وإدارة الفنادق، ومن المتفق عليه أنه لا توجد سياحة ناجحة دون بيئة مقبولة وجذابة، كما أن السياحة هي المستخدم الأول للموارد الطبيعية من مناظر ومواقع جذابة، هذا ما أدى إلى ظهور نمط جديد من السياحة بديلاً عن الأنماط الأخرى يسعى إلى تحقيق التوازن الايكولوجي ويهتم بالحياة الطبيعية الفطرية كما خلقها الله سبحانه وتعالى، وكون أن الصناعة الفندقية هي جزء حيوي في صناعة السياحة استدعى الأمر توفر ظروف مثالية للتفاعل بين رواد الفنادق والبيئة المحيطة بهم وهذا ما يعني تبني إستراتيجية الفنادق الصديقة للبيئة، هذه الفنادق تشكل بعض مضامين السياحة البيئية.

|b With the boom of industrial and technological development coupled with a lot of unwanted effects, warranted the inclusion of the environmental dimension within the policies and strategies of tourism in order to protect the environment and the management of hotels, it is agreed that there is no successful tourism without an acceptable environment and attractive, and that tourism is the user the first of the natural resources of the views and attractive sites, this is what has led to the emergence of a new type of tourism substitute for other types seeks to achieve ecological balance and the cares of life natural innate as created by God Almighty, and the fact that the hotel industry is a vital part in the tourism industry summoned it provides conditions ideal for interaction among the pioneers of hotels and the environment surrounding them, and this is what means a strategy environmentally friendly hotels, these hotels make up some of the implications of eco-tourism.
