نروم في هذا البحث- إنْ شاء اللّه- الكشفَ عنْ لغة القدامى الصوتية، من خلال مصطلحاتهم ، وبيانُ أثرِ سبويه عمّن جاؤوا بعدهم، بعيداً عن الموازنة والمقارنة بينهم وبين آراء المحدثين في مجال علم الأصوات، ذلكَ أنّ البحث غايتهُ التأصيل والـتأثيلُ لتلك المصطلحات، والنظر في حياتها وتَتبّع تطورها، ومدى شيوعها في أواسط المشتغلين في حقل الأصوات من لغويين وعلماء تجويدٍ وقراءاتٍ، وكان منهجنا في هذا البحث تتبع المصطلح منذ ظهوره حتّى استوائه ونضجه، والتّطرق إلى أهم ما جاء في معناه من مصطلحات وألفاظ مرادفة. ووقع الاختيار على بعض المصطلحات المعبرة عن صفات الحروف الثنائية كعينة ونماذج للدراسة، ذلك أنّ المقام لا يسعنا للحديث عن كل المصطلحات التيّ بُثَّتْ في ثَنَاياَ الكتب التراثية.
In this research study we wish, God willing, to examine the phonological language of the ancients through their terminologies and to explain Sibaweih’s influence from those who came after them, keeping away from balancing and comparing between them and the between the opinions of the modern scholars in the area of the science of phenology. That is because the aim of the study is the rooting and etymology of those terminologies, examining their life and following their development, and the extent of their spread within the mediums of those occupied in the field of phonology, like the linguists and the scholars of Tajweed and the recitations. Our methodology in this research study was to follow the terminology from the time of its emergence until its levelling out and maturity, and to examine the most significant aspects of what came in its meaning in terms of terminologies and synonyms. As a sample and models for study, some of the terminologies expressing the attributes of bilateral letters were selected and that is because the scope of the study does not allow us to discuss all of the terminologies which have been transmitted within the books of heritage.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
