المستخلص: احتوى البحث على أربع محاور اذ تناول الباحثان في المحور الأول مبررات وأهمية البحث والهدف الرئيسي في التعرف على مستويات الطلبة وقدراتهم التعبيرية في فن الرسم باستخدام التحليل السيميائي لأن مشكلة البحث تمحورت حول قدرات الطلبة في التعبير عن العلاقات التكوينية في فن الرسم وذلك لبيان جوانب القوة والضعف في خبراتهم ،أما المحور الثاني فقد تضمن الإطار النظري الذي احتوى مواضيع السيميائية والتحليل السيميائي وفن الرسم فضلا عن الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت موضوع التحليل للأعمال الفنية ،أما المحور الثالث فقد احتوى إجراءات البحث إذ اعتمد الباحثان منهج البحث الوصفي التحليلي ومجتمع البحث و الذين هم طلبة الصف الثالثة قسم التربية الفنية كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة ديالى للعام الدراسي 2014_2015م والبالغ عددهم (37)طالبا وطالبة وعينة البحث التي بلغت (15) طالبا وطالبة وهي تمثل نسبة 41% من المجتمع وذلك باستخدام أداة البحث استمارة تحليل لرسومات الطلبة وفقا لطروحات رومان جاكوبسون في التحليل السيميائي وصدق الأداة، والمحور الرابع فقد احتوى نتائج البحث والاستنتاجات والتوصيات التي أمكن التوصل إليها.

This paper involves four sections, wherever the researchers in the first section cover the introduction, the research significance in recognizing the students' levels and their expressive capacities in the art of drawing by utilizing the semiotic analysis. The statement of the research problem is included in first section as well, which concerns the idea of categorizing the students' abilities in expressing that gesture as one of the constitutional relationships in order to show both weaknesses and strengths in teaching the subject of pictorial composition. Second section includes the theoretical framework which contains subject matters about semiotics, the semiotic analysis and the art of drawing, in addition to that, the researchers approach the definitions of basic terms and some previous studies about analyzing some artistic works. Third section deals with the research methodology, wherein the researchers adopt a descriptive analytical method in which the research population is composed of 3rd grade students in the department of art education of Fine Arts College of Diyala University for the academic year of 2014-2015 and they were 37 male and female students. The sample of this paper is constituted by (15) male and female students which represents 41% of surveyed population. The research instrument is included in third section too, and this tool consists of certain analytic form of students' drawings according to Roman Jakobson's propositions in semiotic analysis and validity and reliability of research tools. Fourth Section demonstrated the results and summed up with the concluding remarks and recommendations which the researchers have ultimately reached at.
