This paper has tackled the problem of the Arabized and the intruder words in Elbaroudi's selections and explained their effects on the contemporary Arabic Dictionary. The study aims at discovering the lingual adaptation which occurred in the Arabized and exotic in the contemporary Arabic language. The paper has shown the meaning of the Arabized and exotic in language and convention and differentiate them according to the opinions of the most ancient linguists and modernists. It offered a space for Elbaroudi, his poetry, his selections, mentioning extracts of his life and what important is that he was a fluent Persian and Turkish speaker. He occupied a number of leading positions and the English exiled him for that. Advance in the modern time, all these made him in consideration of all people. The paper also pointed out his selections in which he elected thirty poets form Abbasid period starting with Bashar Ibn Burd to lbn Ayni purposes and he divided it into seven chapters according to the regulation. The paper chose some Arabized and exotic utterances in their selections of poems arranged alphabetically and explained their ancient meanings and changes which occurred to them in the contemporary Arabic which are called modernized utterances. It has shown the lingual adaptation which accompanied them. The paper also has shown some examples of the Arabized and exotic in the poetry of Elbaroudi. Finally the paper has reached the following results. The contemporary Arabic language made finding the meaning of some Arabized and exotic utterances very difficult and it expanded. The paper adopted the descriptive method which is based on incomplete induction, description, and analysis
عالجت الورقة إشكالية المعرب والدخيل في مختارات البارودي وبينت الأثر الذي تركته في المعجم اللغوي العربي المعاصر، وهدفت إلي كشف التكيف اللغوي الذي حدث لتلك الألفاظ المعربة و الدخيلة، في العربية المعاصرة، وأوضحت الورقة المقصود بالمعرب والدخيل في اللغة والاصطلاح وفرقت بينهما، حسب رأي معظم اللغويين القدامى والمحدثين، وأفردت مساحة للبارودي وشعره ومختاراته، بذكر مقتطفات من حياته وأهمها أنه كانت متحدثا لبقا بالتركية والفارسية، وقد تقلد عدد من المناصب القيادية ونفاه الإنجليز بسبب ذلك، ويعد رائد النهضة الشعرية في العصر الحديث، كل هذه الأسباب جعلته موضع اهتمام من خاصة الناس وعامته، وأشارت إلي مختاراته التي انتخب فيها ثلاثين شاعرا من شعراء العصر العباسي بدءا ببشار بن برد وصولا إلي بن عيني، وقسمها سبعة أبواب حسب الأغراض الشعرية اختارت الورقة بعض الألفاظ المعربة والدخيلة الواردة في المختارات من أشعار هؤلاء مرتبة هجائيا وشرحت معانيها القديمة وما لحق بها من تغير في العربية المعاصرة التي أطلقت عليها مصطلح الألفاظ المحدثة، ووضحت كذلك التكيف اللغوي الذي صاحبها، ثم جاءت الورقة بنماذج من الدخيل والمعرب في شعر البارودي نفسه، وختمت الورقة بنتائج منها أن العربية المعاصرة ضيقت دلالة بعض الألفاظ العربية والدخيلة، وتوسعت في بعض وهجرت أخري، اعتمدت الورقة علي المنهج الوصفي القائم علي الاستقراء الناقص والوصف والتحليل.
