هدفت الدراسة إلي التعرف إلي المشكلات الأكاديمية لدي طلبة كلية العقبة الجامعية وعلاقتها بمتغيرات الجنس والعمر والتخصص والمستوي الدراسي. ولتحقيق الهدف تم تطوير استبانة اشتملت علي جزئيين: الجزء الأول تناول المتغيرات العامة وهي: الجنس، والعمر، والتخصص، والمستوي الدراسي، أما الجزء الثاني فقد اشتمل علي 23 فقرة موزعة علي ثلاثة أبعاد هي: المشاكل المتعلقة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس، والطلبة، والسياسة التعليمية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 307 طالباً وطالبة اختيرت بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة وقد بلغ حجم العينة (%28.42) من مجتمع الدراسة. وأظهرت النتائج وجود المشكلات بين الطلبة وكان أبرزها المشكلات المتعلقة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس مثل التمييز بين الطلبة، وعدم التقيد بالساعات المكتبية، وإعطاء الحرية للطلبة علي حساب الفاعلية في المحاضرة، وعدم قدرة بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس علي ضبط المحاضرة وابتاع بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس أنماطا تقليدية بالتدريس. تلاها المشكلات المتعلقة بالطلبة وأهمها تعامل الطلبة السيئ مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس وضعف المستوي الأكاديمي للطلبة ثم المشكلات الناتجة عن السياسة التعليمية وأهمها عدم توفر نشاطات لا منهجية كافية داخل الكلية، ومحدودية التخصصات المطروحة. واقترحت الدراسة بعض التوصيات وهي أهمية الأخذ بالمشكلات والتوصية بإجراء دراسات أخرى وإيجاد حلول لضعف الإرشاد الأكاديمي.
The study aimed at investigating the academic problems as perceived by Aqaba University college students and it is relation with some variables such as gender, age and academic major. For this purpose a questionnaire was designed consisted of two parts: the first part included the following variables: gender, Age, faculty and level of educations. The second part included (23) items consisted of three dimensions, the problems concerning the faculty members, the students and the educational policy. A simple random sample of 307 students was selected (28.42% of the total population) The results revealed that the most common problems the students share are those related to the faculty members such as discrimination among students , non availability of faculty members during office hours, disability of some faculty members to manage the class and the use of traditional teaching methods. The findings also showed that some problems were related to students such as the bad communication of the students with the instructors and the poor academic achievement by students. More over the results showed other problems faced by the students concerning the educational policy such as no availability of educational activities and limited availability of faculties for certain majors. The researcher suggested some of the following recommendations: giving importance to the problems, carrying more study and finding solution to the weakness of academic supervising \
