المستخلص: مشكلة البحث: تتحدد مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤل الرئيسي ما هي علاقة صحافة المواطن بحرية التعبير والرأي على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك؟ أهداف الدراسة: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين صحافة المواطن بحرية التعبير والرأي على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك، في ضوء نظرية حارس البوابة. نوع ومنهج الدراسة: تنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى الدراسات الوصفية، والتي تستهدف وصف العلاقة بين الصحافة المواطن وحرية التعبير والرأي على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك في ضوء نظرية "حارس البوابة"، معتمدة على منهج المسح الوصفي. عينة الدراسة: تكونت العينة من 150 مفردة، من مستخدمي شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك، من المرحلة العمرية (18 – 35) سنة. أما عينة الدراسة التحليلة فقد تم تحليل مضمون أربعة أنواع من الصفحات، بإجمالي أربعة صفحات عينة الدراسة على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك. أدوات الدراسة: استخدمت الباحثة استمارة استبيان، واستمارة تحليل مضمون. نتائج الدراسة : أثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الأول الذي ينص على "توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين خصائص وسمات المواطن الصحفي (كحارس بوابة) الديموغرافية، واستخدمه لشبكة الفيسبوك"، وأثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الثاني الذي ينص على "توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استخدام المواطن الصحفي (كحارس بوابة) لشبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك وحرية التعبير والرأي"، وأثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الثالث الذي ينص على "توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين عملية حراسة البوابة، وحرية التعبير والرأي على شبكة التواصل الاجتماعي الفيسبوك".

Problem: The problem of the study can be formed in this main question "What is therelationship between citizen journalism and the freedom of speech and opinion on the social network Facebook?" Aim: The main aim of this study is to know the relationship between citizen journalism and the freedom of speech and opinion on the social networking Facebook in light of the gatekeeper theory. Type and Method: This study belongs to the descriptive studies, which are aimed describe the relationship between citizen journalism and freedom of speech and opinion on the social networking Facebook in light of the "gatekeeper"theory, based on the descriptive survey method. Sample: The researcher choose 150 of EgyptianFacebook users, from the aged group (18- 35) years, were selected randomly by the social networking Facebook search engine, and the analysis of the content by comparison between four types of pages on social networking Facebook, including, (a personal page, General page, open group page, closed group page), using industrial week for three months, during the period of analysis from (01/ 01/ 2015) to (31/ 03/ 2015). Tools: Online Questionnaire Form, and Content Analysis Form. Results: The study proved the validity of the first hypothesis, which states that "there is statistically significant relationship between the characteristics and the demographic attributes of the citizen journalist (as a gatekeeper), and the use of citizen journalist to the social networking Facebook", The study proved the validity of the third hypothesis, which states, "There is statistically significant relationship between the use of contact-based media as a gatekeeper to the social networking Facebook to communicate and freedom of speech and opinion", and The study proved the validity of the third hypothesis, which states that "there is statistically significant relationship between the media gate keeping process, and the freedom of speech and opinion on the social networking Facebook."
