هدفت الدراسة إلى رصد وتحليل لواقع المعرفة في مؤسسات المعلومات ومدى جاهزيتها لمتطلبات مجتمع المعرفة. وبيان الدور الذي يمكن أن تقوم به مؤسسات المعلومات في التحول إلى مجتمع المعرفة. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. والمراجعة النظرية للإنتاج الفكري في الموضوع والدراسات. لبيان أهمية الدور الذي يمكن أن تقوم به مؤسسات المعلومات في التوجه نحو مجتمع المعرفة. وجاءت نتائج الدراسة مؤكدة بأن عوامل التكامل والتعاون مكفولة على أرض الواقع العربي كحقائق ينبغي استثمارها في رؤي وسياسات وخطط ومشروعات تشكل بيئات ممكنة للتوجه إلى مجتمع المعرفة. وان الحد من الفجوة الرقمية أمرا مهما وغالبا ما يقترن بفجوة علمية أكثر عمقا. وأن المعرفة تؤدي دورا متزايدا في النمو الاقتصادي وتحقيق التنمية البشرية المستدامة. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة امتلاك مؤسسات المعلومات لعدد من العناصر لتطوير مجتمع المعرفة منها إعادة النظر في الأهداف السياسية لديها. وتوفير نماذج جديدة للقيادة متفهمين للمتغيرات التكنولوجية والاجتماعية. والمشاركة في محو الأمية المعلوماتية عن طريق إمداد مجتمع المستفيدين بالمهارات اللازمة. وأنشاء شبكات وبنى تحتية جديدة تختص بالتقنيات الحديثة. وتمكين مؤسسات المعلومات من المشاركة في دراسات الجدوى التي تقوم بها الحكومات. والعمل على تكثيف إنشاء الشركات من اجل التضامن الرقمي وزيادة إمكانيات العمل والتعاون التبادلي لتبادل وتقاسم المعرفة ونشرها. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
Teh study aimed to monitor and analyze teh reality of knowledge in teh information institutions and its readiness to face teh requirements of teh knowledge society and to indicate teh role dat information institutions can play in becoming teh knowledge society. Teh study was based on teh analytical descriptive approach and theoretical review of teh intellectual production in teh subject and teh studies to demonstrate teh important role dat teh information institutions can play in moving towards teh knowledge society. Teh results of teh study confirmed dat teh factors of teh integration and teh cooperation are guaranteed on teh Arab ground as facts dat should be invested in visions, policies, plans and projects dat constitute possible environments for teh knowledge society. In addition to reducing of teh digital division is important and is often accompanied by a deeper scientific gap and dat teh knowledge played an increasing role in teh economic growth and in achieving teh sustainable human development. Teh study recommended dat teh information institutions should possess a number of elements to develop teh knowledge society including reconsidering its political objectives and to provide new models of leadership dat are sensitive to teh technological and social changes. In addition to teh participation in information literacy by providing teh community of teh beneficiaries wif teh necessary skills, teh establishment of new networks and infrastructure for teh modern technologies, to enable teh information institutions to participate in teh feasibility studies by teh Governments and work to intensify teh establishment of teh companies for teh digital solidarity and increase teh possibilities of work and teh mutual cooperation for teh exchange and sharing of knowledge and to disseminate it.
